Exposure

Two things in this photograph (space and matter) distance
between bodies and a heart that feels emptiness
in mouths and tongue that seals shadows
from windows and eye that sees gaps
between fingers and flesh that fills
matter turns to space in black
holes but space disappears
whenever we touch this
matters and I can’t
get my mind
over your
matter
